A lot of folks seem to misunderstand the whole unlimited recording time thing. If you don’t have an account, you’re only able to record for 5 minutes. On the other hand, having an account really lets you enjoy all the perks of the app. I really dig this app!

This software is fantastic. I can grab any video that's playing on my computer, regardless of where it's from. Whether it's a news segment, a sports highlight, a section of a DVD, or a quick clip... pretty much anything goes. After that, I can save it as an MP4 file on my computer. It's worked like a charm for me every single time I've used it.

I really can't understand why this is such a hassle. Ever since Jing got taken off the market a few years back, this is the only tool that can do the straightforward job of recording your screen, which is all most folks need. Since I spend a good chunk of my time tackling support problems to keep my computer in shape, this software is super useful. The support team was fantastic too. (A prime example of that). There was a glitch in the latest update, and they fixed it in no time.

This app is super helpful and makes chatting a breeze. The person on the other end is really nice. I'm a big fan of this app. THINGS I APPRECIATE MOST: - no viruses. - completely free, no charges. - no lag at all. - functions perfectly. I’d give it a solid 90% if I could, but it’s only got a 5-star option. Otherwise, I’d definitely rate it higher. THANKS FOR CREATING THIS APP :)

This snapshot tool is super easy to use, and even the free version had a speedy support reply that helped me solve an issue. Excellent service, for sure!

Awesome software! It's super easy to use. Once I signed up for a free account, I was able to capture my 4K screen, just a section of it, and choose various audio sources. So far, it works like a charm! And best of all, it's completely free!

After trying out a bunch of different apps, I've been using this one for over a year now, and I gotta say, it's the best screen recording tool I've come across. The customer support is top-notch too; they got back to me super quick when I had questions. I was worried I couldn't get my recordings back since I just saved the link and couldn't access it, but thankfully their support team helped me track it down in my local files. Always a huge help. I've been using the free screenrec app on and off for about a year now. It really does its job well and has a nice, clean interface. There’s no time limit, you can share to the cloud, and it doesn’t overwhelm you with too many menu options or settings.

Recently, I wiped my machine and while reinstalling apps, I discovered that the new version 2 of screenrec comes with a revamped look. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of the new design and couldn’t figure out how to revert back. I sent some feedback, not really expecting a response since I’m not a paying user, but to my surprise, I got a quick reply with a link to download the v1.0.90 installer! I was really impressed.

This app is fantastic! I really dig the keyboard shortcuts that work from anywhere, plus the flexibility and ease of choosing recording systems (both for the system and mic). The optional speaker video is adorable, and the interface is super simple and hassle-free. It's an awesome little app. To top it all off, I got stellar service when I contacted them about a bug. Big shoutout to you all, I’m telling all my pals about it!

I really enjoyed making a free instructional video (under 5 minutes) and sharing it with my pals. What threw me off was realizing that your videos are kept in a local SQL database that syncs with your cloud account (when they're made, of course). In my situation, I had to restore my computer using cloning software from an earlier image that didn’t have the Screen Rec program on it. This meant the video in the Gallery wasn’t accessible, but the link still worked when I shared it with others. These little quirks are just part of the learning curve. The support team was super helpful when I couldn’t figure this out by myself. I’m giving it 4 stars because I’m counting on the Cloud account with the Gallery to keep any past videos I’ve recorded. It would be awesome if there were enhancements to allow for this, rather than just relying on your local SQL database! Big thanks to the support team for getting back to me so quickly about my issues.
